On Tuesday, the World Series of Poker released that they will be holding a nine-person sit-n-go to give out its sponsor exemption entry to the World Series of Poker Tournament of Champions. Having a sit-n-go that will happen on Thursday afternoon.
As it was picture out by the official WSOP press release, Tournament of Champion was, “the premier all-star event in all of poker.” There were 27 players including Annie Duke, Mike Matusow and Mike Sexton who take part in the invitational freerolls.
Joining the circle of WSOP title hunters were Tom Dwan, Sorel Mizzi and Andy Bloch. Each of them see poker in a different way. However, these three people failed to have any title from poker’s major events. Speaking of Dwan, he failed to get his first ever title last week and runs only second to Simon Watt. Mizzi has a good start for poker this year. He is qualified as player-of-the-year. Even so, his achievements never count any major title. Lastly is Andy Bloch who has a remarkable participation during the $50,000 H.O.R.S.E championship.
Going with the title holders for the World Series of Poker bracelet are Gus Hansen, , Liv Boeree, Paul Wasicka, and Bertrand “ElKy” Grospellier. Aside from the title holders, Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi was also feature with his newest WSOP bracelet.
